Daniela's Beachfront House

The host was very responsive and offered suggestions in the area and island. Positive: There is so much to love about this property! The location is perfect with beach access directly to the ocean. We loved the outdoor space on the balcony and yard. We had the perfect sunset spot every night. Inside was comfortable and clean & worked well for our family of 4! Negative: Nothing negative to say about the place

We really enjoyed being located right on the beach and being able to swim and walk the beach right from the property. There were stores and restaurants just a short walk from the house as well. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked fine for us during our stay.

Great stay overall. The pictures don’t do it justice! The house is beautiful with an amazing view of a perfect, quiet beach. The location was great, very close to town. The A/C worked great. We did lose power one night but were able to get the generator working, which was great to have as a backup. Hosts had good communication. For improvements, I would suggest more towels accessible for a beach house with 4 people staying 5 days. A couple of the hand towels seemed dirty upon arrival. We loved the outdoor shower — the pressure and temperature were actually better than inside. The pillows could use an update, but these were minor inconveniences. Overall AMAZING stay, we will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for a gorgeous sunset view and great outdoor space, this could be your spot! The neighborhood is quiet and a quick walk to town and other spots to dine as well as the grocery.Unfortunately, for all of the careful attention given to decor in the home, not nearly as much care has been given to the basics. The kitchen lacked even the norms in a str like salt, pepper, sweetener or vinegar/oil. There are no bowls, not one, for cereal, etc. We were only two so the 5 mismatched plastic cups sufficed, but wouldn’t have for a party of 4. There were beach towels and two camp chairs but no other beach amenities such as an umbrella or a cooler. None was advertised but is pretty standard for a beach house on an island.That said, the management is very responsive. The generator didn’t work when the power went out and they were quick to send someone within a couple of hours.

The host communicated promptly and seemed very interested in us enjoying our stay but we had 2 issues that were never resolved. First, we never had working wifi during the whole trip even though all the neighbors did and second the AC units struggled to work effectively for more than a couple of hours, The mini-split systems have their external compressor portion tucked into the crawl space with no (I mean none) ventilation. So the heat builds in the crawl space until the units struggle and heat starts radiating up through the floor. It means all the bathrooms (and other rooms) have nice radiant heated floors, but that's not really desirable here. I can't reccomend staying here until they restore some ventilation to the crawl space. You can see in the current pictures that it's all boarded up.
